Comparing Local News- Magic (London) and Capital (Birmingham)

When i listened to both Magic (London) and Capital fm (Birmingham), I noticed that they both contained a few of the same stories but in a different order. Both radio stations had the story of 1.2 billions pounds going to the Syrian refugees in their first 2 stories, this is high up on the news bulletin. This story is not specifically related to Birmingham it is still a national story that most radio shows will announce.

Another story they both share is that Facebook is celebrating its 12th birthday. This story is in the last two of both radio stations news bulletins. This social network is used globally and most people would be interested in hearing about it. 

The radio stations do not have anymore in common, they both have one more story on health, but it is not the same. They then go on to have one or two local stories that have happened in their region, for example Britain's got talent going to Birmingham because the first auditions are taking place there.
