Introduction To Annotating The News Stories

In these next posts I will be annotating 10 news stories from the national news and 10 stories from the local news, by doing this I will be enabling myself to understand and relate more to the ideas of how news stories are structured and how they are written. I will also be learning more about the news values and 5W's because I will be reading all different stories and seeing how they use the news in this way. By doing all of this it will help me when I come to writing my own news story, I will be able to identify the news values and the 5w's much quicker as I would have done extended amounts of work and research into it.
