AS Media Studies Foundation Production - Introduction

For my AS media production, I will be creating a 5 minute extract from a local radio show that will include a news bulletin (with voxpops, outside broadcasts, soundbites and specialist reporters) alongside other conventions of radio such as:

• adverts
• jingles
• presenters
• music

My fictional radio show will be from a local radio station and I will use the blog to record all of my research and planning. I also have to create a preliminary task to help familiarise myself with the scripting process and introduce me to the recording and editing equipment and software. The preliminary task will include the following:

• a jingle
• a presenter introducing a guest
• the guest responding 
• an archive clip featuring the guest
